Early Morning cafe and cinema

We decided to take our low top trainers to breakfast.

 Sienna was so hungry she didn't even stop to take her jacket off.

Then we rushed off to see Smurf's we love an early morning cinema, cheap and cheerful.

We both loved the movie.

Sienna tried to get me posing but all I ended up doing was wiggling. We had been looking at fashion blogs and she wanted me to start posing like them in the new year.But I find it so hard to keep a straight face when she takes my picture. I will have to try harder tho because she thinks I'm letting the side down.

We then took our low top trainers home to play a game of Monopoly.

My feet are so big at size 7 why cant u shrink your feet as a New Years Resolution like we all decide to lose weight in the year. I think ill be going back to high tops for a while I feel braver about stepping my flipper feet out in them.

Mini me is back!!!!

 

On Christmas day Sienna's Pops( her name for her Grandad )sent me this picture of her after she opened her present from me. She then called me and said " Mum you got me an IPAD! Mum I freaked out when I opened it, I didn't think I'd get one. Mummy you are the best mum ever." That phone call made my Christmas day, her dad sent me pictures of her often so I was well up to date with all her Christmas adventures.

Today she is back from her week away and we are off to the hairdressers.

She was such a good girl while I got my hair done.

A few weeks ago my sister took me to her hairdressers calles Belle hair. I've become a bit obsessed and been going every week if not every 10 days. It's this new short hairdo I just cant seem to make it look good on my own.I've never been to a salon that is so fun. It's family run and I'm constantly giggling when I'm there.

After the hairdressers we went to see my beloved gran who is ill in hospital. She's always smiling, her smile reminds me of the song below that I used to sing at primary school.

It's been so lovely to have my  frizzy ball of sunshine back and to have see my gran all in the same day.

Mini me is Leaving me

Mini me is off to spend Christmas with her dad and her grandparents for the second year running. Normally we take it in turns, so this year was my year! But she asked if she could spend it up North with her beloved Nana. How could I say no to her, she gets constant attention for a whole week up north so its like Christmas for a week, what child wouldn't choose that over one day shared with my nieces and nephew.

So today we are counting down our last hours together!!!

First stop is the nail shop..

Sienna asked to stop and look in the window of this shop."Mum what the heck is going on here? It looks like the legs of little mix awful"

 I'm so going to miss her jokes!

Si went for an the crackle look on three fingers and pink and orange on the other two.

I went for dark rainbow look, although Hannah who did my nails thought I was crazy she said " You have freaky funky style, don't tell anyone I did this for you please, I don't want ladies to request this"

Sienna and her lady were very happy with her nails she said  " Your daughter funky like you"

Our next stop was Costa where Sienna had a baby chino and I had a Blackberry hot chocolate this is my favourite drink at the moment. Makes me feel so warm and festive.

Then we met my sister and my niece and headed down to Hammersmith where we watched a friend perform the best Aladdin we have ever seen. We laughed and sang and danced in our seats, it was so fun and the music and acting was terrific. The songs pelted out by  Sophia Nomvete were amazing I cant wait to watch her preform again.

 Ali wears Reds Next jacket,Zara t-shirt and Next jeans, red vans. Sienna wears Gap hat, Ralph Lauren jacket, gap denim shirt and H&M jeans with her favourite Dr suess converse.


We sang along to songs like Jessie J Price Tag! When the lyrics below were sang Sienna replied " Yes it can buy happiness, well I don't know about anyone else but it can buy mine"

Here we are with Sophie who we met after to say what a wonderful time we had.

My last hours with Mini me are closing in. My last treat to her before she left was to straighten her hair for her for the first time.

She loved it and was constantly admiring her new look in the mirror. I much prefer her curls and cant wait for my frizz head to return from her week away.
