Black on black

 These boots were made for walking and that's Just what they do!!!

I'm still very much in love with my beloved black on black Dr Martins I'm most upset that it was  an affair I put of for so long, My older brother always teased me that my size ....... I don't even want to say it... (I shut my eyes and gulp) SEVEN phew it's out in the open. Yes he teased me that my feet were too big and it's played on my mind whenever I go to buy shoes. I wonder if he did it to make himself feel better as he has small feet for a man and wears a size six. So back to My Dr Martins I no longer care if they are clumpy for my big feet I adore them and will be buying lots more.

So this weather has been so up and down this week that I'm sure none of us no if we are coming or going, If we need to take a coat or don't.

So on Wednesday Sienna and I did our best to dress according to the British weather.

Sienna's old Zara mac has now become her encase it rains school coat, shes added her beloved new Clarks shoes and is very happy with her look.

  

As we were getting ready for school Sienna asked if I was off to work or going for a jog this morning, I wonder if she has been reading my mind of late, as I have been meaning to get back to exercising daily. I ask her why she has asked me this question. She replied " well whenever you do go jogging again, please put on some light makeup and a touch of lipstick. Remember to look good and run fast girl, It's all about the glamour and keeping fit." She really makes me laugh as I remember she got that saying from the film fast girls we saw a week ago. Si Si belle went on to say " Well as you can see I always look good for school and I can run fast... (sigh) It's just such a shame school is torture!

It has to be said she often makes my day start brightly. Lucky me, lucky me!

 Off to her torturous school she goes.

 

I really hope they don't put her in the dungeons,

Fun in front of the camera

We have to be at the John Lewis shoot for 9.30 so we have to leave at 7am to get there on time. We made the train and as we sat down Sienna said " Wow mum, I'm living the dream, this is good times, good times, I'm so excited!! I feel like were travelers, I mean we are traveling now". I love these long journeys when I have endless time to listen to her. The things she comes out with make me laugh.

"Yesssssssssss mum we are finally here" 

 Straight into hair and make up.

 I've not seen her so excited to do a shoot she loves it here, the other little girl from her wedding shoot is here along with another girl we met at Sienna's Marks and Spencer shoot and three boys we've never met. 

It's a busy day for the kids they have lots of clothes changes from swimsuits to nightclothes and a few set changes as well.

Between changes the girls chilled out giggling on their ipads

 

Then the children had lunch, a chef comes into cook everyone dinner and desert.

The kids favorite part of the day was a pillow fight!

 

 

As you can see they had an amazing time, the girls were so much more fierce than the boys. Making statements like this is war and your going DOWN!!!

After the pillow fight Sienna said " wow that was insane, and a once in a life time pillow fight"

As you can see Sienna went in to hyper mode towards the end of the shoot. She was back to saying things like "I'm the star of the show" I asked her what she meant by saying these thing she replied "lighten up mum, its just me joking to make fun of myself, you said I should laugh at myself more"

 

The camera man told them to freestyle for the last shot of the day. Sienna said "Are you sure you want me to to go for it? I can dance or just do anything? OK get ready cause I'm going to strike a pose, camera, action"

And my so called star of the show is off. Its a wrap!

The white company

This is my instagram edited picture, instagram is another reason why I love my new iphone ,  I still love my crackberry  we are still together, I'm not cheating I have the best of both.

Last week we went for a casting for the little white company.

We got the train to Paddington and then onto Parsons Green.

Sienna like all kids loves Paddington bear.

Hello Little white company casting.

The casting took about five minutes, we went in filled out a form, Sienna smiled for a picture holding the form, tried on a dress and it was over before we could blink. Yes all that way for five minutes.

This is side terrace of the studio where the pictures were taken.

It was a lovely day and Sienna was happy to dance down the road.

At the bottom of the road we found a mini fair!!!

 Rides for Sienna

Candy floss for me!

What a perfect day it turned out to be, I love candy floss.

 So these tokens didn't take her on three rides as I thought they would, it was two pounds a ride so two tokens each, so I had to grab quite a few more. I found it hard to keep to my word of three rides only.

So I made a deal with Sienna she could go on as many rides as she wished if she went on the one ride she was most scared of. She agreed until it came time to get on that ride.

They wanted to raise her off the trampoline a tiny bit so she could jump,but she refused she was so scared. I did video her trying to help her over come her fear, but I promised her I wouldn't show anyone. Poor little sausage, there was a three year old behind her bouncing very high. Yet she was screaming GET ME DOWN.... with her feet still on the trampoline. I do love my feisty little scaredy cat.

 We then went off to meet Roxene who works at Liberty London

while we waited for Roxene to finish work we went to check out the new Children's department.

We had to go up three flights of stairs but after our long day traveling it felt like forty flights.

Sienna was so glad to find a chair outside the kids department.

" MUM please! I must sit down, I just dont understand how your not tired"

 I was just so excited to see all the clothes inside , I could sit down later.

The clothes were beautiful, Sienna was in clothes heaven. Brands like Isabel Marant, Chloe and Stella McCartney to name but a few.

Sienna was so overwhelmed.....

That she had to lie down...

We decided to stay with Roxene in London for the night,

my little Poppet was so popped out.

She deserved a much needed rest.

We haven't heard from The White Company yet, so Wish her luck, thankfully she never gives a second thought to the casting from the minute after we leave. So far she has never asked if she has had a call back or if she has  got the job, she is just happy for a day out.

Tomorrow we have an early start as we are off to shoot for John Lewis again so look out for our next blog.
