Busy day and no stylist

I've got a busy day today I'm taking my amazing gran to the hairdressers then off to work to then race back for the launch of my bff's new photography studio.www.nu-nuu.com

So my little stylist got up late today and sulked around like a little teenager. I asked about styling and got no response just faces. I wanted to take pictures of the odd faces to show you all. But I didn't want to push her over the edge.
So I tried an outfit on for later and then got dressed remembering it's all Black week at work. I guess today I'm styling me. So I ask her if it looks nice to wear later, She looks up and said " ummm yeah its ok" I ask her if I don't look nice. She says " if you want me to say you look nice, then yeah you do."

Whats got into my lil Si si bella :-(  She said shes not feeling her photography anymore. That she doesn't think shes as good as she thought she was.
I gave her a little hug and let it slide that I saw her sneak a chocolate timeout into her lunch box.

Yesterday got so hot and in all black everything...everything was hot.

Warehouse blazer,topshop shirt,vintage levis, vintage chain wrapped around wrist.

We slowly walk to school as we have time as i'm not rushing to work... I ask when will my Si si bella be back to normal? Does she want us to not bother with the blog cause I don't mind. She said no mum we cant do that we must blog for people to read and enjoy.

Just before we walk in the school gates Si si bella returns and the sulky teenager is gone phew.

So I pop home after school to grab my things for later tonight, I had packed my make up as going make up free is still scary.

But as I look at my face clearing up from the rash I think I'd rather have good skin and look scary then scary under the make up.

So I unpacked the make up. Go me I'm feeling really brave.

Who needs make up not me...well not for the next few days.

By the way I've lost my three pounds gained last week. The universe granted my wish not in the three days before the christening. But hey who is complaining.. not me.

All Black everything

My stylist has been getting up late these past two days, but she gets up and gets straight to work.

It has us both smiling from ear to ear before we are even dressed. So I've got to wear all black for the next few days for some extra work I'm doing. So my stylist has her self a lil all black mission.

So I forgot to say yesterday I've got a rash on my face so this is day two of me not  wearing any make up just eyeliner. I'm still scared to step outside but dealing with it well.

On the way to school Si Si asks "can I please have the key to your energy? How do you have so much so early? It's not fair mother has loads of energy and the kid has none. I just don't get it.. The mother is supposed to have none and the kid have loads cause I'm smaller.. I'm afraid to say you didn't make me properly. Cause I shouldn't be the one out of breath."

I think I need to get her some weetabix asap. I also think she's yet to realise I'm a big kid and she's a little granny.

On the way to work I saw an old little granny staring at my legs. I tried to catch her eyes and smile but she was giving my legs dirty looks. I'm thinking is my skirt a bit short? I turn around to catch her staring at my bum. I mean don't blame me. Blame my stylist xx

Morning Monday

Doing a mini video for my Personal stylist website today so told my stylist I just want a casual chilling shopping outfit.

Were both loving my leather trousers at the moment we agreed that they give us that dressed up casual look with out the heels.

Styling mini me day 2

We went to the christening of my best friend Miss Jennings she's a nursery teacher and my close buddy of 15 years. She's my biggest fan and I adore her. So she made me god mother to her lovely daughter Alexa J Lucy Clarke. Ive never seen such a happy lil girl enjoy her time in the church.. she was in her element.

I was so bad at taking pictures today... I have no idea why sorry.

Sienna wears dress from marks and Spencer,vintage blazer,h&m tights,river island boots, My adorable niece Ali wears a Ted baker dress,topshop flats and white Zara cardigan.

Ive no pics of my amazing Alexa she didn't fancy posing or cuddling me on the day the lil diva. Behind closed doors we are super tight.. she was just showing off  lol.

We had a busy happy weekend but we are super blessed to have spent it with friends and family.

My mum was not amused that my week day stylist couldn't understand that her beautiful vintage dress only worn once couldn't be worn again.

Early morning Style dilemma

We have a christening to go to on sunday and I've put three or four pounds on... I cant be precise cause who's counting that extra weight I'm not. So three days ago when I foolishly jumped on the scales. I decided I was going to use my mind and the universe to help me shed the weight in three days. So I jumped out of bed today and tried on my dress that fitted three weeks ago.

Yep it still is tight around the arms and breasts..... oh OK and my tummy.

So I go and wake up my stylist. 

"SIENNA wake up were late.... and my dress for the christening is too tight. Does this dress look OK? " she yawns gets up all bright eyed "WOW mum I LOVE that dress especially on you, but what if its not a bright sunny day? Will that dress still work?" 

So we try on 'The dress' yes that's the tight dress..."Wow mum that is defo the dress its puuuuurfect" So I ask her what we should do, even tho it's the weekend and no longer my week day stylist issue. We decide to go to the vintage stock room and go vintage shopping.I don't normally dip in to stock once I have forced myself I cant have it as its for sale... But Ive no time to shop this weekend. So we found a perfect dress and I'm sorted Yay!!!!

So did my style challenge work? Did the weekend dressing mini me go smoothly?

Well she was well aware of the plan but still found it hard being restricted. The days outfit was jeans and a t-shirt,mac and converse. But we were going to a Mickey and Minnie event so we based the outfit around that.

Vintage Mickey Mouse apron worn as a top,...Sienna's favourite line as a 3/4 year old was "its vintage darling" Yep we are vintage lovers.

We helped out at the Mickey event it was the launch for our close friends new Photography studio http://www.nu-nuu.com/ We had a brilliant day with lots of fun.

 So it's nearly a whole week since I statrted this blog. I didn't imagine id love it so much... or taking pics so fun. I missed not having a picture today . Guess I'm not as camera shy as I thought xx

Style and go

We woke up half hour late this morning so I jumped out of bed and just thought can we miss styling today as we cant possibly have time. But in pops my stylist ready for her job. I tell her I would just like to be casual today denim jeans please. To be honest I just feel like dressing myself today so I try to say can I wear these light jeans and a light top please. "NOPE I'm your stylist and I think a dark casual look will work." So I give in and think ahhh it's too dark I need colour to wake me up. It was like she read my mind... she pulls out the my red vintage teddy coat. Yes my outfit is complete and she's so quick.

I adore these boots SO much. But I would like some Dr martins asap as I would love those as well.

While getting dressed sienna bumps in to my bum. "mum look wen I knocked your bum it has lines going up it!" She means it ripples... i explain its cause my bum is big and fat kinda like Kim Kardashians haha. She says oh yes mine does it to and taps her bum to make me feel better. It does not ripple but I love her for trying.

So just as we walk out the door Sienna looks at her styled work of art and declares"yes yes yes you look good mum, I did well."

Looks at her self in the mirror and asks " Is this hair band too much for school"

I sure do love this kid xxx

styled by mini me day 2

Today the little lady decided she would like a rocker style outfit with a pop of colour.This morning didn't run as smoothly as yesterday. But we still got washed and dressed and left on time. I'm getting a few looks at school in the morning. But I'm just gonna take it that they think "ello ello she's looking more put together in the mornings, who's her stylist."

I must say mini me is really enjoying her job as stylist and photographer to be fair she is really good at it. Id say she has inherited all my good genes.

On the way to school this beautiful young face said... "mum if I live till 100 ill have grey hair so ill have to dye it and get a face lift." I look at her like what is this six year old telling me. "Sienna what is a face lift"

She sighed"Muuuum it's when you get your face redone" then rolls her eyes.

I guess she will be expecting me to get a face lift when I'm 40 I think that's her equivalent to 100 years old. I hope my face lift will be her treat.
